Most appliance issues aren't a motor or a circuit board — they're a clogged drain, a loose connection, or a worn seal. Those are handyman fixes. We handle those, and we're honest when something needs a licensed tech.
Get a free estimateOur scope, plainly stated
We handle the mechanical and plumbing side of common home appliances: dishwasher won't drain (check the filter and drain hose first), garbage disposal jammed or leaking, dryer vent clogged or disconnected, washing machine supply or drain hoses failing, refrigerator ice maker line kinked or leaking.
We don't repair compressors, replace circuit boards, recharge refrigerant, or diagnose error codes on smart appliances. Those require a licensed appliance technician. If we show up and that's what it is, we'll tell you immediately and won't charge you for a diagnosis we can't complete.
Longwood and Lake Mary homes from the 1990s and early 2000s often have original appliances or first replacements. We're familiar with the common failure points in that age bracket and can usually tell you on the phone whether it's worth our time or a tech's.
What's included
Won't drain, door latch broken, spray arm clogged, or lower rack wheels broken. We clean filters, clear drain lines, replace latches and spray arms. Not circuit boards or control panels.
A clogged dryer vent is a fire risk and a longer dry time. We disconnect the duct, clear the blockage, reconnect properly, and verify airflow. Includes the exterior vent cap check.
Refrigerator ice maker line, washing machine supply and drain hoses, dishwasher supply line — we replace, re-route, and secure. Includes shutoff valve inspection while we're there.
Common questions
General rule: if it's water, hoses, venting, door hardware, or mechanical jamming — we can probably handle it. If it's making electronic error codes, not cooling/heating correctly, or has a failed motor — that's a licensed appliance tech. Tell us the symptom and we'll tell you upfront.
Usually yes. The most common causes are a clogged filter basket (5-minute fix), a kinked or clogged drain hose, or a blocked air gap on the countertop. Less commonly it's a failed drain pump — that's a tech call. We check in order of cost.
For the handyman-scope work we do — drain lines, hoses, venting, door hardware — brand doesn't matter much. The parts we typically replace (hoses, clamps, vent sections, latches) are standard across brands.
We serve all of Central Florida, but Longwood and the surrounding Seminole County communities are a core market for us. Faster scheduling, no travel premium, and we know the housing stock in this area well.
